Post Malone went all out on expenses for his crew during the Australian leg of his current world tour when they ordered from the popular chicken restaurant Nando’s.

Post Malone, whose real name is Austin Post, treated his entourage to lots and lots of chicken from a Nando’s in Footscray, Victoria last Thursday (November 28). The bill was so big it ended up being four figures!

Post Malone’s Nandos order

A picture of the receipt, obtained by the Daily Mail, shows that the total of what the music star and his crew ordered came to AUD 1527.45 ($1000 USD). It featured lots of chicken (of course), garlic bread, and corn on the cob.

22 lots of garlic bread were ordered and came to $119 ($78), while four sets of PERi-PERi Wings cost the celebrity $273.75 ($179). 30 PERinaise Classic meals amounted to $358.50 ($235), with other food including 11 corn-on-the-cobs and 24 lots of large PERi-PERi fries.

Postie has a history with the restaurant

The Sunflower singer “shut down” a Nando’s back in 2019 when he was touring in the UK.

Though there was no spending amount given for that order, a source told the Daily Star he ordered a food coma-inducing 500 lots of chicken wings.

They said: “He ordered 500 chicken wings, so regular customers were complaining because they couldn’t get in. Post loves his chicken hot and says it’s the only place worth visiting whenever he’s in London.”

Other big stars love Nando’s too

Post Malone isn’t the only famous face to enjoy some PERi-PERi.

Beyoncé apparently spent a few thousand on an order from the restaurant when she was in the UK on her Renaissance World Tour earlier this year. She is said to have ordered “30 fino pittas, 30 butterfly burgers, 60 chicken pittas, 20 beanie burgers, and 10 chicken wings.”

With being so well-known, you would imagine that the star would have used a fake name, but the Crazy in Love singer actually used her real name!

Like Post Malone, the royals also love some Nando’s chicken. Prince Harry has admitted that he’s partial to getting a bite to eat from the chicken food chain.

Harry, 39, who married Meghan Markle in 2018, spent £24.05 on a meal for himself and a friend 10 years ago, with his order recently being revealed. He ordered a “pitta with extra cheese and a side of creamy mash, along with a double chicken wrap with chips.” He is said to have grabbed a soft drink and a bottle of water.

One person said: “It was surreal. He was very charming and politely refused a member of staff who approached him for a picture. I was gobsmacked to see him.”

Another explained: “Moments after he left the restaurant clutching his dinner in a paper bag, a member of staff jumped on the bench Harry was sitting on and shouted: “I’m on the Prince’s throne!’ Nobody could believe what happened.”
