Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend, Kayla Nicole has seemingly ‘shaded’ Taylor Swift fans before the release of the Bad Blood singer’s new album, The Tortured Poets Department, which dropped today.
The NFL star’s ex seemed to get herself ‘in trouble’ with Taylor Swift fans on X, formerly known as Twitter, as she said there’s “no way” she could “fully digest all these new albums,” following the release of Beyonce‘s Cowboy Carter at the end of March. Some Swifites seemed to take it as a ‘dig’ towards their fave, and now Kayla is ‘fighting back’.

“There’s just no way I can fully digest all these new albums. I’m still on Cowboy Carter. overstimulated.com,” Kayla tweeted on April 18, the day before Tay’s big drop. Some Swifties then seemed to go on the defensive as one wrote: “Taylor doesn’t need your streams.”
Although other fans were sticking up for the star. “She didn’t say a word about Taylor!” wrote one.
However, it seems like the Media Personality saw these tweets, as she decided to address them on X, formerly known as Twitter, later that day.
“I’m unproblematic. Mind my business,” the 32-year-old wrote. “Never respond to the constant vitriol. Solid as they come & don’t expect a pat on the back for it either.
“Just know everyone has a breaking point & would love for ‘yall’ (because you know exactly who you are) to leave me alone,” she concluded, seemingly referring to the Swifties.
The star was flooded with comments from supportive fans as one penned: “Sorry lovely. You’re gorgeous and talented and should be recognized for that. I’m a Swiftie, but hate that you’re caught up in that. It’s not cool.”
Kayla’s relationship with the NFL star explored
It’s hard to imagine the Kansas City Chiefs star with anyone but Taylor, but of course, he does have exes. His first big public relationship was with sports broadcaster and model Kayla Nicole, from 2017 – 2022.
Their relationship began to blossom in May 2017, when ‘KillaTrav’ began flirting with the TV star via Instagram.
“I was just stalking her, and then finally on New Year’s, she gave in,” the star told E! News in 2022. However, it looks like it wasn’t meant to be, as that same year, the couple called it quits. However, there didn’t seem to be any Bad Blood there, and it looks like the two went their separate ways amicably.
